  • Regular training classes in OKC and Tulsa on a variety of topics
  • All employees of Center members receive discounts on training and can attend “Brown Bag” lunch workshops for free. Scholarships are available for training and membership.

Public Relations Society of America – Oklahoma City Chapter

  • Meet at 11:30 am on 3rd Wednesdays ($32.00 Non-PRSA Members, $22.00 Students)
  • New Pros meets at 5:30 pm on 4th Tuesdays (cost varies)

Oklahoma’s New and Emerging Arts Leaders (ONEAL)

  • Free statewide network for arts leaders age 35 and younger or those with less than five years of experience in arts administration or the business of arts
  • Offer a mentorship program and “Second Tuesday Lunch” networking events

Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) – Oklahoma Chapter

  • Monthly luncheons with guest speakers on the 2nd Wednesday of each month except July
  • Membership is only $75 if you are under 30 years old! Scholarships are available

Central Oklahoma Volunteer Administrators (COVA)

  • Monthly brownbag lunches with guest speakers on the 2nd Tuesday of every month at Infant Crisis Center, 4224 N. Lincoln Blvd.  Dues are just $20/year

International Association of Business Communicators (IABC)

  • Professional development opportunities in the fields of communications, public relations and marketing. Communicators across all industries and sectors and skill level are invited to participate


University of Oklahoma 

  • Minor in Nonprofit Organizational Studies offered to undergraduate students in all fields of study.
  • Create your own nonprofit bachelor’s degree tailored to your specific interests in the sector
  • Earn a certificate in Nonprofit Management by actively participating in and completing all areas of the Nonprofit Leadership Program
  • Offers a Master of Public Administration with an optional concentration in Nonprofit Management. Courses offered in Norman, OKC, and Tulsa.

Oklahoma City University 

  • Offers a graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Leadership in one year
  • Offers a Master of Arts in Applied Sociology – Nonprofit Leadership in one or two years
  • Coursework is Monday and/or Wednesday evenings
  • MA can be combined with a Juris Doctor from OCU Law
