    Are you thinking about getting your Certified Nonprofit Professional (CNP) credential? How about Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE)? Or becoming a Certified Grant Writer (CGW)? Join us for a discussion of the different credentials and certifications available to nonprofit professionals.

    Coffee/Cocktails & Conversation is a monthly event hosted by the Professional Development Committee of YNPN of OKC. Each month we meet for casual, informal and intimate discussion about a relevant topic to emerging nonprofit professionals. Everyone is welcome - just purchase your own drinks. We meet at a different local spot each month.

    Plaza District Networking Crawl

    Come one, come all to the Plaza District Networking Crawl with Young Nonprofit Professionals Network of OKC! Get to know one of our city's coolest districts while you get to know other folks in our nonprofit sector.

    The crawl will begin at 6 pm at 16th Street's anchor nonprofit, Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma. We will walk over to Empire Slice House at 6:30 pm and then on to Oak & Ore where the back section is reserved for us to mingle.

    Our members will each get a FREE slice of Empire pizza! You are welcome to bring guests.

    Cocktails & Conversation: Mastering the Work/Life Balancing Act

    Join us for cocktails & conversation to learn about how to become a master of the ever elusive work/life balancing act. We will discuss self love, mindfulness, and how to cope with professional and personal stressors in your life. We will hear from yogi Tracey Checotah at Yoga in the Park - Oklahoma on how you can incorporate movement and yoga into your daily self-care practice. You will also learn about mental health resources available inside and outside the workplace with Jobeth Hamon from Mental Health Association Oklahoma. The only cost is what you choose to order from Oak & Ore. All ages can attend, but you must be 21 to order alcohol.

    Hear from young professionals turned young executives on how they handle work/life balance, do's and dont's of being a young ED, dealing with generational gaps, and their journey into the Executive Director role.
